first_imgFormer England striker Stan Collymore has slammed Wayne Rooney and Raheem Sterling for their poor performances against Republic of Ireland.The Three Lions were held to a dull 0-0 draw in Dublin and none of Roy Hodgson’s squad came out of the clash with much credit after a dire showing.Captain Rooney and wantaway Liverpool starlet Sterling bore the brunt of Collymore’s ire though as he blasted England’s display.“It just looked like an exhibition game, really, at times,” he said on talkSPORT.“When you talk about key players, Wayne Rooney, his touch, literally, was that of a non-league player at times.“Raheem Sterling didn’t look bothered.
