Smartron, popularly known for its srt.phone last year, has launched a brand new handset in the budget segment, called the t.phone P. The latest smartphone from the company boasts of a number of features that includes a full metal body, fingerprint sensor, 5000mAh battery and Snapdragon 435, among other things, that makes it a value offering at Rs 7,999. The t.phone P will go on a flash sale on January 17 at 12pm on Flipkart and will be available in Black.The Smartron t.phone P sports a full-metal body with a fingerprint sensor located on the rear. Up front you get a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280) display with capacitive keys on the bottom bezel. The handset is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. You will get 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. Smartron promises 2 days of battery life, 16 hours of video playback and 350 hours of standby time, among other things. The t.phone P is being touted as the lightest smartphone with a 5000mAh battery at 160 grams.
